Due to the extremely hot temperatures and potential rain our concert for July 4th has been moved in doors to the Ice House at Sand Island. We will be finishing around 8:45 to give yourself ample time to get in a good firework watching space.

Parking is available in the Lehigh and Main street parking lot and West of the Ice House. Sand Island EST (past the playground) is closed to the public for Fireworks.

Alert from the City of Bethlehem Recreation Department:

The City of Bethlehem will present its annual Fourth of July fireworks at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, weather permitting.

Fireworks will be fired from Sand Island and visible from various areas of the city, particularly around City Center Plaza on East Church Street.

Before the fireworks, the Bethlehem Municipal Band will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. at its NEW LOCATION: The Ice House on Sand Island

In the event of inclement weather, fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 5 at approximately 9:15 p.m. For weather updates and scheduling information, please check the City of Bethlehem website and social media accounts.

As a reminder, please celebrate safely and responsibly. Fireworks use remains limited by state law, including restrictions on use near occupied structures, from vehicles or buildings, on property without permission, or while under the influence.
